Sculptural re-invigoration of recyclable materials is the inspiration for Richard’s artistic endeavours. Practicing since 2013, it is only two months ago that he became a full-time artist. In the previous 10 years, He has been commissioned for several artworks and won nine varied awards using a diverse range of materials and techniques. In uncovering ways to recycle discarded objects, Richard follows his organic sense with strong connections to the earth, nature and repurposing.
