In 2014, Gallows Gallery commenced a Summer Exhibition Program to engage with the local cultural community and give artists a new opportunity. The program supports those artists who do not have permanent representation in commercial gallery spaces in Western Australia, as well as supporting emerging artists, new to the industry.
Over the years, the program has grown into a succcessful mentoring program which provides artists with the opportunity to have solo or group exhibitions in an established, prestigious gallery space, giving them access to all the gallery’s facilities and client base.
The program commences every year in mid-December, and runs until mid-February, usually allowing up to six separate exhibitions.
Gallows Gallery provides this opportunity for a set fee and gives artists the chance to avoid paying gallery commission. It is up to each artist to man and manage their own exhibition under our guidance.
